I introduce myself as Dr. Ajit Kumar Yadav, an Interventional Radiologist from Delhi, India. I have four years’ experience in Interventional radiology especially in GI and Onco-inteventions. In three years of my training in radiology I also had good exposure in Conventional radiology, Ultrasonography, Doppler, CT, MRI and Interventional Radiology.

The realization of my goals materialized upon clearing the national level pre-medical test in 2000 and gaining entry into Pt. BDS PGIMS, Rohtak which is rated as among the top medical schools in India. The four and half years of grueling study schedule instilled an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.

As a part of the three year Post graduate training, I was fortunate to work in the Department of Radio diagnosis, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi a tertiary care center with approximately 650 beds. At this hospital, I was fortunate to work under the guidance of some of the best teachers and seniors with a thorough curriculum. During this period I had the opportunity of working under eminent radiologists, Dr.TBS Buxi, Dr. K.K.Saxena, Dr. Deepak Chawla and Dr.Arun Gupta.During the three year period I got the opportunity of independently performing Ultrasound and Doppler scans with an average of 30 cases per day. The scans included all types of routine, emergency, antenatal scans, sono-mammograms and Doppler’s.

I was fortunate to get fellowship in Interventional Radiology at GRIPMER, New Delhi and short fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, USA. I had a lot of experience of RFA, TACE and TARE for liver malignancies. I am also comfortable in doing TIPSS, BRTO and Embolization of GI Bleeding.

In my training at Ganga Ram hospital had done bronchial artery embolization, uterine artery embolization and prostatic artery embolization regularly. I was part of many research project that was going on in our department like PTBD stenting, Angioembolization in non-variceal upper GI bleeding

It is my ardent desire to offer the best possible care to the patients. I will leave no stone unturned in my effort to give justice to this opportunity.
